The Elms School

For Elms School children morning care is included in the school fees (8.00am to 8.30am), additionally a breakfast club runs from 7.30am until 8.00am which costs just £2.50.  We also offer after school care for Elms School pupils between the hours of 3.15pm and 6.00pm where your child can take part in enjoyable, supervised activities with their friends and they are provided with a drink and snack. From 3.15pm until 4.00pm after school care is included in the school fees, after which there is an additional charge for after school care of £2.50 per half an hour or part of.

Foundation and Key Stage 1 Care Provision:
Our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils enjoy the stimulating and exciting environment created for them in the Lower School Hall for their after school care routine; here they receive opportunities for play and creativity whilst awaiting collection.

Supervision is provided by full time Nursery Nurses accustomed to the needs of young pupils after a full and challenging day in school. Outside play during fine weather and a range of indoor activities when not, help provide a positive experience for those booked into our extended day provision.

Key Stage 2 Care Provision:
For pupils in Years 3 to 6, after a short break following the normal school day the teacher supervised homework routine commences in Elms Upper School for those not engaged on one of our after school extra-curricular activities.  At 4.30pm the Key Stage 2 pupils are then transferred to the Lower School Hall where they join with the remaining Key Stage 1 children to be collected by 6pm.
