We expertly guide your child through the wonders of learning, helping them to adapt to a range of different activities in a more structured environment.
The Pre-School has three areas of learning: the Pre-School Room, Pre-School Classroom and Outdoor learning area. All children have access to all areas throughout the day and enjoy learning and playing both independently and through adult led activities.
Learning in Pre-School is enjoyable and rewarding with a good balance of child initiated play and adult led activities. A daily routine involves topic based circle time, free play, outdoor learning, PE, cooking and a visit to the library. This variety allows our children to become confident and independent in their daily choices and daily activities.
Throughout the week the Pre-Schoolers spend time with our teacher on a phonics session and we are also visited by specialist teachers delivering short developmentally appropriate sessions in French, Dance and Singing. Children are encouraged to find learning fun and their achievements and developments are recognised to develop the children's confidence and self-esteem.
