I believe that The Elms delivers a first rate education to the children who come here.
The size and shape of our school is a clear testament to the high esteem in which our parents and the wider community regard The Elms. Our focus is very much on the individual child, recognising their talents and interests, and working with parents to release this potential within the context of a caring and responsible school community.
Our high academic standards are achieved through nurturing the social and emotional needs of our children. We have a large and dedicated team of talented teachers and classroom assistants, who are supported by many specialist teachers, all of whom contribute to the wide and enriching curriculum on offer to children at The Elms. Our recent ISI inspection report rated us as one of the most successful schools nationally. Teaching and Learning, Pupil Progress, Attitudes to Work, Leadership and Management were all found to be excellent.
The Elms has a remarkable past, but an even more exciting future. We are committed to building on our achievements as the leading independent co-educational junior school in the region, offering the very best modern education with traditional values.
After visiting this website and reading through our prospectus, I am confident that you will want to come and visit The Elms to see our wonderful staff and children in action for yourself. I would be delighted to meet you and your child around and answer any questions you may have.
I look forward to meeting with you and your child in the not too distant future.
