Extra Curricular:

At The Elms, we recognise that each child is unique and that they have a distinct set of abilities and talents. So, in addition to what happens in the classroom, your child will discover that a wide range of lunchtime and after school clubs and activities are offered. The activities change each term and incorporate the academic, sporting, music and drama expertise contained within the school.

Your child will be able to select their after school clubs each term and be free to choose some of the many exciting opportunities available. At lunchtime, pupils in Key Stage Two are given two or three activities in which to participate, appropriate to their skill and talents. A selection of the activities on offer are:

Cricket, Dance, Football, Hockey, Netball, Rounders, Rugby, Swimming, Calligraphy, Card Craft, Jewellery Design, Modelling with Wire, School Newspaper, Sign Language, Spanish, Band, Brass Ensemble, Cello, Choir, Clarinet, Flute, Percussion, Saxophone, Clay, Cooking, Cubs/Beavers, Drama, Jazz Dance, Mask Making, Sign Language, Tap Dance, Textiles...

Each and every child is afforded ample opportunity to develop their many existing skills and interests, or just try something different.
