Welcome to the Elms Nursery

The nursery building is in two parts. The bungalow unit was opened in September 2005, offering a smaller, more secure start for our youngest children. In September 2008, the latest addition to the nursery was opened. This is a purpose-built environment, offering a light and spacious area for the children to enjoy.  Children move into the bigger nursery during the year in which they are 4 years old. We have a highly motivated and enthusiastic staff that provide a good adult to child ratio.

Children can join the nursery at the beginning of the term in which they are 3 years old. There is a flexibility of provision, including mornings only, mornings with some afternoons and full time.

Milk and fruit are provided during the morning followed by a well-balanced lunch for those children who are staying all day.The children go to the school hall to eat their lunch, enjoying the time to try new foods and chat with their friends
