Outdoor Education

Year One and Year Two: 5 - 7 years

We take advantage of our beautiful site and close proximity to a variety of environmentally interesting locations to provide opportunities for learning out of doors

Both Year One and Year Two pupils visits sites in the surrounding counties. Year One study Victorian History and Famous People and have visited Nottingham Castle and Carsington Water, while Year Two visit the local Remembrance War Memorial and the Patchings Farm Centre, as well as the local university theatre.

The Elms also has an excellent relationship with the local support and emergency sevices, with visits from the Long Eaton Police and Fire Service.
