Nottingham Castle and The Brewhouse Yard

Our topic for the first half term of the Michaelmas term was 'Old and New Toys'.  We visited Nottingham Castle and The Brewhouse Yard to find out about toys from the past, what they were made of and how they worked.  Our teachers even remembered some of them!

We researched playground toys.  It was hard work finding out how they worked and what they were made of.  We then worked with a partner to make our own models using construction equipment and 'junk'.
