NURSERY 3 - 4 years old:

Our Nursery children benefit from large, airy indoor facilities and excellent opportunities for outdoor education, learning and play. The highly qualified teaching staff and excellent pupil/adult ratio ensure quality curriculum delivery and pastoral care within the Six Areas of Learning. Pupils may enter the Nursery in the term in which they are three and transfer to Reception in the September following their fourth birthday.

NURSERY PROVISION

In September 2005 we opened our Bungalow Nursery unit for our youngest pupils. Set just behind The Elms Lower School building, this purpose developed unit is completely secure and self contained. The large airy rooms are well equipped and the garden play area spacious, making it very interesting for our three year olds. Once the Nursery children are happy, secure and progressing through their Early Years stepping stones, they transfer to the larger Nursery within the main school building. The Nursery children usually attend every day and there is flexibility of provision including mornings only, mornings with some afternoons and full time. A well-balanced lunch is served to pupils staying all day, with the nursery children eating in their familiar setting with the nursery staff.
