Parents Social Association

The Elms PSA was formed to organise and promote activities of a social nature for the parents, staff and friends of the school. We also arrange family and other social events for pupils throughout the academic year.

Regular events include the Summer Ball and the Family Fun Day, which are run in alternate years. The Summer Ball is a great night out, with excellent food and dancing until the early hours to live bands and a disco. The Family Fun Day is also well attended and very much enjoyed whatever the weather, with entertainment for the children and a Pimms Tent for the older ones! Other varied events throughout the year have included Wine Tastings and Film Outings, and we are always looking for ideas for new events .

Although our primary aim is not to raise funds, we are able to use any profits we make to subsidise social events, purchase items for the school and support our chosen charity. Our main fundraising event is our traditional Michaelmas market, which takes place at the school towards the end of November each year.
Please click the FUNDRAISING link below for more details.

We also run the Nearly New Uniform Shop that provides a great source of low-cost school uniform. If you have any good second hand uniform you would like to sell or want to buy please click on the NEARLY NEW UNIFORM link below for further details.

The PSA Committee consists of volunteer parents supported by the Head and Deputy Head of The Elms who meet once a term, and as required in sub-committees to organise the events. If you are interested in joining or helping with any of our activities, please click the PSA COMMITTEE link below.
